Boiler Repairs

Choose the right engineer

Your average Gas Safe registered plumber may not necessarily be able to diagnose a fault on your boiler or central heating/hot water system swiftly and correctly. Fault diagnosis and repair is a skill that is gained through training and experience and is not by default taught or tested en route to becoming a Gas Safe registered installer. If an operative is not skilled in this area, it is usual that a ‘best guess’ is made, often resulting in many parts being changed unnecessarily which can end up being very expensive for you as the hourly charge and parts cost multiplies. Or, worse, they can end up suggesting that a whole new boiler is needed when, in fact, any boiler for which parts are still made can be repaired.

If you experience a problem with your boiler or central heating system, what you require is someone who specialises in this area and who has the competence and equipment to make a full technical survey of your boiler and system components. This is essential to quickly and accurately determine the fault and to be able to exact a quick repair, restoring hot water and/or central heating to your household with as little delay as possible.

Here at Wilson's Heating we don't guess... we test.

we source information direct from the boiler manufactures so we can diagnose the fault immediately.
